Sonor was founded in 2003 — originally as a bespoke AV installation company. Over the years the scope of what we do has grown considerably, but the way we do it hasn't changed: every project gets the same level of attention, regardless of size or budget.
We're based in Chester and work throughout Cheshire, North Wales, and further afield for larger projects. Our core team brings together professional backgrounds in television broadcasting, multimedia production, IT, audio engineering, lighting design, construction and electrical installation — people with a genuine understanding of what clients want, and the technical expertise to deliver it.
We work closely with architects, interior designers, builders, and electricians throughout a project — which means our installations integrate cleanly into a wider build rather than being bolted on at the end. For clients who want a single point of contact from concept to handover, that's exactly what we are.
