CCTV & security systems Chester, Cheshire & North Wales

We design and install integrated security systems — CCTV, intruder alarms, security cameras, access control, and video intercom — across Chester, Cheshire and North Wales. Fully integrated with your smart home for total visibility, from anywhere in the world.

Peace of mind, fully integrated.

Your home security shouldn't be an afterthought — and it shouldn't be a separate app with a separate interface. We design and install security systems that integrate fully with your smart home: CCTV on your TV, alarm integration with your lighting, access control tied to Control. Everything visible and manageable from one place.

What we install

CCTV

High-definition IP cameras — inside and out. Discreet or visible, your choice. All footage recorded locally and optionally backed up to the cloud, accessible from any screen or device.

Intruder Alarm Integration

Alarm triggered = lights flash, push notifications sent, cameras capture. Going to bed = alarm armed automatically. Leaving home = all lights off, alarm on. One action, everything responds.

Access Control

Smart door locks with unique PIN codes, key fobs, or smartphone entry. Give your cleaner a code valid only between 9am–5pm on Tuesdays. Know the moment your children arrive home.

Video Intercom

See who's at the gate or door from any TV, touchscreen, or phone — including remotely. Open the gate before you arrive. All activity recorded and logged.

Presence Simulation

Away on holiday? Lighting scenes automatically simulate occupancy — different lights, different times, unpredictably. One of the most effective deterrents available, fully automatic.

Alerts & Monitoring

Instant push notifications for alarm triggers, door events, motion detection, water leaks, or smoke alarms. Full awareness of your property, wherever you are in the world.

CCTV & security across Chester & Cheshire

Based in Chester, we install CCTV and security systems across the city and wider Cheshire — from period properties within the city walls to executive homes in Tarporley, Knutsford, Wilmslow and surrounding villages. We also cover the Wirral Peninsula and North Wales. Being local means faster response, local knowledge of property types, and ongoing support from a team that's never far away.

Commercial security

We design security solutions for commercial premises across Chester and Cheshire too — bars, restaurants, offices, and retail. Enterprise-grade CCTV, access control, burglar alarm systems and network infrastructure built to withstand the demands of commercial operation.

How we work

Every security project starts with a site visit. Camera positions, sight lines, gate runs, intercom routing, control room location — all of it gets specified properly before any equipment is ordered. We then design the system as one integrated whole — CCTV, alarms, access control, gate automation and intercom on a single network, controlled from one interface.

Common questions

Will the system work if the internet goes down?

Yes. All recording happens locally on an on-site NVR — internet only matters for remote viewing. Alarm panels also have GSM backup so alerts still leave the property even if broadband is offline.

How long is CCTV footage retained?

Typically 30 days of continuous high-definition recording, but we size storage to your preference — some clients want 60 or 90 days. We can also configure motion-triggered cloud backup for off-site redundancy.

Can we integrate an existing alarm system?

Often yes. Most modern alarm panels expose contacts or IP integration that Control4 can read — meaning your existing alarm can trigger lighting, video recording or notifications without replacing the panel. We'll assess on the site visit.

Do you offer monitored alarm response?

We don't operate our own monitoring centre, but we install systems that meet the requirements of NSI-approved monitoring partners. We can recommend monitoring companies and configure the panel for police-response or keyholder dispatch.

What about GDPR with cameras pointing off-property?

UK CCTV that captures any area beyond your own boundary triggers data-protection obligations. We position cameras to minimise public capture, and where unavoidable we document the lawful basis, install signage, and configure privacy masking on individual feeds.

Can the kids let themselves in without a key?

Yes — smart locks support unique PIN codes per family member, fob entry, or phone-as-key. You'll get a notification the moment they get home, and the alarm can disarm automatically for that specific code.
