We design and install integrated security systems — CCTV, intruder alarms, security cameras, access control, and video intercom — across Chester, Cheshire and North Wales. Fully integrated with your smart home for total visibility, from anywhere in the world.
Your home security shouldn't be an afterthought — and it shouldn't be a separate app with a separate interface. We design and install security systems that integrate fully with your smart home: CCTV on your TV, alarm integration with your lighting, access control tied to Control. Everything visible and manageable from one place.
High-definition IP cameras — inside and out. Discreet or visible, your choice. All footage recorded locally and optionally backed up to the cloud, accessible from any screen or device.
Alarm triggered = lights flash, push notifications sent, cameras capture. Going to bed = alarm armed automatically. Leaving home = all lights off, alarm on. One action, everything responds.
Smart door locks with unique PIN codes, key fobs, or smartphone entry. Give your cleaner a code valid only between 9am–5pm on Tuesdays. Know the moment your children arrive home.
See who's at the gate or door from any TV, touchscreen, or phone — including remotely. Open the gate before you arrive. All activity recorded and logged.
Away on holiday? Lighting scenes automatically simulate occupancy — different lights, different times, unpredictably. One of the most effective deterrents available, fully automatic.
Instant push notifications for alarm triggers, door events, motion detection, water leaks, or smoke alarms. Full awareness of your property, wherever you are in the world.
Based in Chester, we install CCTV and security systems across the city and wider Cheshire — from period properties within the city walls to executive homes in Tarporley, Knutsford, Wilmslow and surrounding villages. We also cover the Wirral Peninsula and North Wales. Being local means faster response, local knowledge of property types, and ongoing support from a team that's never far away.
Most of the CCTV systems we install in Chester and Cheshire homes follow the same shape: four to twelve 4K IP cameras covering the approach, driveway, entrances and garden, cabled back to a network video recorder in the plant room or rack, with a video intercom at the gate or front door. Cameras are chosen for the position — low-light sensors for unlit drives, vandal-rated domes where they are reachable, discreet bullet cameras where they are not — and every one is cabled on Cat6, never wireless, so the picture is stable and the recorder is never waiting on Wi-Fi.
The difference from a standard alarm-company install is integration. Footage appears on any TV or touchscreen in the house, the intercom rings on the same panels and phones, and the cameras work with the lighting and alarm rather than alongside them: a night-time motion event on the drive can bring up the exterior lights and put the camera on the bedroom screen in one step. Where a home already has cameras, we can usually bring them onto the same recorder and interface rather than starting again, and we service and upgrade existing systems as well as installing new ones.
For larger properties and rural homes we also design longer-range and perimeter coverage — gate runs, outbuildings and paddocks — using PoE extenders or point-to-point wireless links where a cable run isn't practical, always recorded locally and viewable remotely.
We design security solutions for commercial premises across Chester and Cheshire too — bars, restaurants, offices, and retail. Enterprise-grade CCTV, access control, burglar alarm systems and network infrastructure built to withstand the demands of commercial operation.
Every security project starts with a site visit. Camera positions, sight lines, gate runs, intercom routing, control room location — all of it gets specified properly before any equipment is ordered. We then design the system as one integrated whole — CCTV, alarms, access control, gate automation and intercom on a single network, controlled from one interface.
Yes. All recording happens locally on an on-site NVR — internet only matters for remote viewing. Alarm panels also have GSM backup so alerts still leave the property even if broadband is offline.
Typically 30 days of continuous high-definition recording, but we size storage to your preference — some clients want 60 or 90 days. We can also configure motion-triggered cloud backup for off-site redundancy.
Often yes. Most modern alarm panels expose contacts or IP integration that Control4 can read — meaning your existing alarm can trigger lighting, video recording or notifications without replacing the panel. We'll assess on the site visit.
We don't operate our own monitoring centre, but we install systems that meet the requirements of NSI-approved monitoring partners. We can recommend monitoring companies and configure the panel for police-response or keyholder dispatch.
UK CCTV that captures any area beyond your own boundary triggers data-protection obligations. We position cameras to minimise public capture, and where unavoidable we document the lawful basis, install signage, and configure privacy masking on individual feeds.
Most detached homes are well covered with four to eight cameras — approach and driveway, front and rear entrances, side access and garden. Larger plots with gates, outbuildings or long drives usually run to ten or twelve. We agree coverage on the site survey rather than guessing from a plan.
Usually, yes. If the existing cameras are IP and cabled, we can often bring them onto a new recorder and add them to the smart home interface alongside any new cameras. Older analogue systems are normally replaced camera by camera, reusing the cable routes where they are sound.
Yes — smart locks support unique PIN codes per family member, fob entry, or phone-as-key. You'll get a notification the moment they get home, and the alarm can disarm automatically for that specific code.
